Meet the Crew

Kate Ecke, LCSW She/hers


Owner & Clinical Director 

Kate is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in trauma.  Kate does EMDR & Trauma-Focused Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. Kate often incorporates tarot cards and spirituality into her sessions. Kate loves pizza, riding her horse & dicking around with whatever hobby she currently finds fascinating (right now its photography & learning French.) Kate is deeply honored that her clients have chosen her to walk their therapy journey with them.

Julie Yoskowitz, FNP-C she/hers

 Julie Yoskowitz FNP-C has been practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2015. She graduated top of her class from The Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing and The College of New Jersey. She is board certified from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and was a member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society. Julie has extensive experience working with men, women, and children of all ages in the fields of psychiatry, primary care, and addiction medicine. When she is not caring for her son, she enjoys riding her horse and participating in her book club.

Stacy Horne, LCSW she/hers

 

Stacy has been a licensed clinical social worker since 2007.  She earned her master’s degree from New York University.

Stacy brings a compassionate, curious and down-to-earth approach to counseling.  While she has extensive experience in treating anxiety and trauma, she tailors her treatment approach to each individual client’s needs.  Stacy is trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) and is currently engaged in a year-long traumatic stress studies training program through the Trauma Research Foundation.

Angela key, LCSW she/hers

 

Angela is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Doctorate from the University of Southern California (USC) and a Master's degree from Monmouth University. She is a New Jersey born native, world traveler who loves life and her 2 dogs (Oreo & Honey). She is passionate about helping those who feel "stuck" and want to live a healthier & happier life. She has 16 years experience and is very down-to-earth & relatable. When she isn't helping others she is a busy mom of 3 who loves home cooked meals and going to the beach.

Linda Schuler, LPC SHe/HERS

I  am one who believes we can all live in peace within our hearts. I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of New Jersey. On this platform, I wish to work student to teacher. I would be honored to guide, empathize and educate you on your path in this life school. It most certainly affords us with many learning opportunities.  


Denise Gorski, LPC, LCADC SHE/HERS

 Denise is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor who has many years of experience working with depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders. Denise believes the relationship between therapist and client is essential and that each one is unique. Denise will utilize her humor and lack of a poker face to build a relationship that is meaningful and real as you work together toward your personal therapy goals. Denise uses CBT and mindfulness as a way to connect your thoughts and body and help you work on getting those back in sync. 




Ellen taylor, LPC SHe/hers

Ellen is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is currently working toward a PhD. She truly believes that by developing a strong partnership to utilize their strengths and resources, people can face challenges and reach goals. 

She is passionate about social causes and works to break the stigma which impacts individuals seeking mental health support. And she feels like we could all use someone to talk to. Ellen spends her time wrestling two kiddos, cooking, and watching trashy reality TV. Lately, she has really been into Oracle and affirmation cards.

Ellen uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to assist with shifting toward valued behavior. Ellen has 7 years of experience working with people in the community on their goals. She loves having the opportunity and the gift of helping others along the path toward their truest self. 


Rachel Patla, LPC, she/hers


Rachel (She/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional. She focuses on evidence based holistic approach to mental health which includes specific therapeutic modalities combined with mind, body, and spiritual approaches. Rachel has an affinity for nature, herbal remedies, crystals, yoga, nutrition, gardening, animals, and has an obsessive knowledge of medications. She believes natural holistic treatment, western medicine, and cutting-edge science can all exist in harmony. Rachel has a decade of mental health experience with everything from psychiatric hospitals to in home therapy for all ages. She works with LGBTQIA+ clients, anxiety, depression, addiction, family stress, chronic health issues, and many more difficulties. Rachel utilizes CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness treatments but tailors her therapeutic approach to each client.

Alexis Appezatto, LAC she/hers


Alexis is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in the state of New Jersey with a background working in k-12 school districts, college campuses, the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC populations, and student-athletes struggling with role conflict/expectations. She believes that every individual has their own story, set of circumstances, and struggles and likes to work collaboratively with the client to understand what they are experiencing and why; and derive from their own strengths to create positive long-lasting change. Alexis has been working in the field since 2016 and takes on a therapeutic approach that combines Mindfulness, Solution-Focused, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions. When she isn’t helping others, she enjoys cooking homemade meals and spending quality time with her partner, family, and friends-beachside. 


Nicole mossbacher, LAC, YT-200 she/hers


Is *insert click-baity, generic problem here* ruining your life and close relationships? Seriously, are you reading this bio currently wondering how you might manage the plethora of stressors that come up as we navigate through the human experience? Nicole is a licensed associate counselor in the state of New Jersey with a background working on college campuses, in domestic violence prevention, and has worked the continuum of care from detox/inpatient residential through to intensive and outpatient dual diagnosis substance abuse services. Nicole obtained her 200 hour yoga teacher certificate (YT-200) from Lavender Koi Yoga and is here to collaborate with you in reintegration of  mind, body, and soul. Nicole believes that the therapeutic relationship is sacred whether or not she is the right fit for you, that just by reading through this website and looking for help is badass. I see you, I hear you, I am you. 


Catherine bonassissa, Lsw she/hers


Life, one simple word yet so complicated, right? I know life can be difficult at times, we are thrown curveballs often leading us into a downward spiral. So what do we do, lay in bed eating a pizza while we binge-watch Netflix? Ahh, maybe for a short period of time! No, we get our asses up and we seek the help that we deserve. I’m here to tell you that you are going to be okay and we will identify your strengths, overcome your challenges and begin your healing journey together. Catherine is a Licensed Social Worker, practicing clinical psychotherapy. She obtained her Master’s Degree from Rutgers University. Through her course of work, she has obtained several years of experience in working with a diverse population of clients within the fields of child welfare services, survivors of domestic violence, mental health, and substance abuse. Catherine has a wide range of experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults. Catherine uses  Solution Focused Therapy all while incorporating a Strengths-Based Approach and helping clients learn Cognitive Behavioral Therapy skills. When she’s not working, Catherine loves spending time with her family, jamming out to 90’s music, and watching horror movies!


Christina McCormack LSW she/hers


Christina is a Licensed Social Worker who graduated with a Master’s Degree from Rutgers University, where she concentrated in a trauma informed clinical education. Also, while earning a certification in Violence Against Women and Children. Christina incorporates a relational and mindfulness based approach, while integrating EMDR and CBT skills into a unique therapeutic journey. Christina believes everyone deserves the opportunity and space to grow. Christina enjoys grounding in nature, spending time with her family, and exploring her own spiritual practices. 




Britt Millard, LPC She/Hers

Britt/Brittany earned her Master’s Degree from Immaculata University and is also currently pursuing her PsyD from IU as well. She is passionate about working with others and understanding everyone in their entirety to best serve and connect with them. Britt enjoys a down-to-earth and relaxed approach to therapy along with utilizing CBT and holistic practices. When not working or in school, you can find Britt out exploring, hiking, snuggling her puggle (Bravo) or near any body of water. 


Carleigh she/hers

Administrative Assistant 


Carleigh is currently working toward obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with the ultimate goal of getting her Master’s in Counseling to become an LPC in the future. She is passionate about mental health, raising awareness, and helping people. She loves animals and music, and has a pet turtle named Ziggy Stardust!
